A Detailed Account of Monday, September the 30th, 2010, as Logged by Harold Heinzel Senior the First
6:45 AM: I awake to the dulcet sounds of a cat fight outside my door. Upon further investigation, the screeches of the fighting cats were, in fact, my parents, singing about King Tut. It wasn't just A capella - there was a full chorus and music going on from the Twilight Zone. Weirded out x infinity, I stayed and ate toast, watching for the lulz, then I had to catch the bus.
7:30 AM: Arrived at school. Everything seemed perfectly normal and fine, until another bout of random singing accosted me in the halls on my way to class. Scared, I contemplated on calling my parents to excuse me out of school, but a) realized that they were doing the very same thing earlier, and b) I live in Paradigm.
11:55 AM: Dazed with the not only the lulz of the day thus far, but the knowledge that I too, had participated in a song and dance number. A rather jazzy solo about
Pride and Prejudice, I found myself still holding onto the top hat, fancy coat, and cane that I had somehow acquired during four minutes of singing and dancing. Had to find Samson to both probably lawl and go wtf with.
1:25 PM: Realizing that I did not study at all for the quiz for Stats
thanks Samson I and the rest of the class were quite pleased with a girl stood up and sang the answers. The teacher wasn't pleased, so she canceled the test. Bwahaha.
3:00 PM: The end of the school day could not have come soon enough. Unfortunately, in my mad rush to get through the jungle that is the hallway, I found myself swept up in a chorus number that reflected my sentiments about school ending for the day.
5:15 PM: An otherwise uneventful day at the museum. However, I had to act as a docent. In front of a dozen senior citizens, I tap danced and sang about dinosaurs.
And then I went home, ate dinner, did homework, did research, and went to bed and got full twelve hours of sleep.
I got lazy after 5:15, but I figure you all got the gist. Perhaps I should scroll up and take that "detailed" out of the title, but that would be the work of a far more ambitious man than I.
